Tiling

While there are many options to waterproof the walls and floor of your bathroom, tiles still remain the most popular choice for most renovations and new bathrooms.

Tile offers a choice of colours and textures and they can be arranged in different patterns to add visual interest to what could be a plain and boring room.

But it isn’t just the aesthetics that cause homemowners to lean towards tiles; the practicality is also an important factor. Tiles are waterproof and therefore protect walls and floors from water damage, they are more flexible for awkward areas and can be cut to size to fit almost anywhere and they can provide a non-slip surface for bathroom floors. Tiles are also very easy to keep clean and will last a lifetime.

Our tiling team

We are very proud to have skilled tilers amongst our team.

This is an incredibly highly skilled part of a bathroom installation and requires careful thought and an eye for perfect alignment.

Our tilers take the time to help you choose the right tile for your space and will remove the old tiles, repair the walls and waterproof them if needed, before using adhesive to fix the tiles to the wall or floor and adding grout for a waterproof finish.

What we don’t do

We are committed to providing you with a bathroom installation that will maintain its good looks and functionality for many years.

This means that our tiles are only ever fixed to fresh walls and floors in perfect condition. We NEVER tile over old tiles – this practice is a sure-fire way to get cracks and fallen tiles that will spoil the look of your luxury space.

We also will advise on the best use of tiles. For some homes that may mean that an alternative will be best. This is especially the case on floors that experience lots of movement. We will never fit tiles in areas where they may become cracked or broken or where the grout may fail due to movement.
